“For the residents of Portland, Ore., taking a whiz in a public toilet is not just a matter of necessity. It’s an act of civic pride.
That’s because the city is home to the Portland Loo, a unique, patented outdoor bathroom that inspires such worship in its fanbase you’d think that Steve Jobs himself had designed it.”

Portland Loo!
This is such a clutch restroom! It’s so conveniently located, right on the roundabout that goes around the Torch of Friendship, downtown San Antonio. It’s located right off the Riverwalk, at one of the busiest street corners in downtown. If you’re just cruising downtown, and don’t wanna have to pay to go buy something at some shop, or feel guilty about going into one of the many hotels around here, this is a fantastic solution!

“In Oregon, the City of Portland is doing its best to serve a toilet-starved public by providing what it calls, The Portland Loo.
And here’s some great news: These sleek-looking, free-standing bathrooms are spreading not only throughout Portlandia, but across the country. Portland officials have been enterprising enough to offer them to other municipal governments, so more of us can have a place to go.”
