In the course of those conversations, they’ve referred 243 people to resources for shelter, treatment, food, and clothing, and they’ve handed out 120 doses of naloxone, according to the spokesperson. These city workers aren’t just restroom specialists, they’re people specialists too, making a valuable difference in the lives of those they encounter.”
