The Portland Loo

The Loo is such a brilliant design, and executed so well. Kudos to you all!

“This Portland-made, free-to-use, stand-alone toilet is working to address common public bathroom concerns.”

These need to be in every city across America.

We have been pleased with the performance of the Portland Loo. We look forward to adding more in the near future.

I personally have heard nothing but good things from the public about our loo after it went in, particularly related to that being a model for us going forward.

It was a big change for us to go from stick built/traditional restrooms to a Loo and there was some hesitancy initially. Low and behold, it now is just a part of our community, and the overall design, functionality and purpose of the Loo works really well for us.

Mostly what I hear about it now is when people say – we need one of those ‘here’ (pointing to somewhere else in town other than the Jay Pearson Neighborhood Park).

In fact, we hope to replace existing restrooms in 2 other parks with Loo’s hopefully in the next couple of years.
