I personally have heard nothing but good things from the public about our loo after it went in, particularly related to that being a model for us going forward.

It was a big change for us to go from stick built/traditional restrooms to a Loo and there was some hesitancy initially. Low and behold, it now is just a part of our community, and the overall design, functionality and purpose of the Loo works really well for us.

Mostly what I hear about it now is when people say – we need one of those ‘here’ (pointing to somewhere else in town other than the Jay Pearson Neighborhood Park).

In fact, we hope to replace existing restrooms in 2 other parks with Loo’s hopefully in the next couple of years.

That’s because the city is home to the Portland Loo, a unique, patented outdoor bathroom that inspires such worship in its fanbase you’d think that Steve Jobs himself had designed it.”
